Paris Day 2

What a day! When we set out this morning we intended to see two museums, the Lourve & Orsay. I was expecting these to take most of the day. The Lourve was mahoosive! We saw the Mona Lisa, a capitivating work of art, for some reason i wanted to keep on going back for another look. Strange for a painting that really is rather plain. We spent maybe 4 hours in the Lourve and only left because they were closing much to Loz's anger. We then headed to the Orsay, and seen the great impressionist works of Renoir, Monet & Van Gogh. Whilst i think Loz prefered the renaissance pieces & the french artwork from the Lourve, whilst i prefered the Impressionist works. Loz's favourite part was however the Egyptian section of the Lourve, which had some great pieces, including a still preserved Mummy!
We still had lots of time so we headed down the most famous avenue in the world. The Champs-Elysees! It was truly awe inspiring. To top it all off the Pirates 2 was premiering and we saw Johnny Depp, literally only 5 feet away. We then headed up the Arc de Triomphe to get some magnificent Sunset shots of Paris! We were going to head to the Eiffel tower as well, but a nasty storm was heading our direction so we headed back to the hotel! But it was a great day. Pictures to come in the morning!
