Guten Hagen from Bremen
Greetings all
We have arrived in bremen, and have successfully navigated Binyam's computer whilst he is at work, so we have internet up and running.
The flight from Hong Kong to Frankfurt was evil, and i swear that from now on , return trip excluded i shall never fly ecomony class again. Very cramped and impossible to sleep, managed to get a few hours here and there purely from exhaustion. The food was of excellent quality and i tried & enjoyed my first crossiant.
I'm going to upload a few images we have taken, most of them are rather rushed shots, as i was very tired when i took them, surprisingly now im not tired, despite lack of sleep , it will work out for the best as we'll return a regular sleeping pattern by sleeping at night.
The most amazing thing happened just 5 minutes ago, local time is 4pm, whilst channel surfing we came accross England vs Jamaica LIVE. Live football or foosball as the germans apparently say, is defintely one of the pros of europe.
I must say though aside from a rare few, the german people live up to their reputation as uptight and arrogant to a tee. The majority of germans we have so far dealt with have been, unreceptive to say the least. The country side was rather plain throughout little cottages & lots of lush green fields. The arcitecture is very 1940ish, and the places we have been too seem to have shown little desire to change that style.
Now that my first rip on the germans have been done, i'll sign off and post some photos.
